We continue to endure a challenging environment for the healthcare business, with our own sector no exception. In spite of this, we continue to advance on our activities. As part of this, we are pleased to announce the launch of our new-look DITTA website. We hope you will find it a valuable resource.

In addition, DITTA also sees a leadership change. In January 2021, JIRA will commence its two-year tenure as Chair for 2021 and 2022. Secretary General of JIRA, Masaaki Ohtsuka, is looking forward to the opportunities and challenges that the still-difficult conditions for global healthcare will pose. Following my period as DITTA Chair in 2019 and 2020, I will remain a member of the leadership team as Vice Chair, along with Patrick Hope, MITA Executive Director.

The DITTA Annual Meeting will take place on 9 December 2020. However, given the current restrictions imposed by the global pandemic, this year’s Meeting will be a virtual event. We are looking forward to it and will strive to make this as interactive as possible.

We also continue to maintain our global presence and visibility. On 12 December, people and organisations around the world will mark Universal Health Coverage Day. DITTA is a proud Member of the UHC2030 Private Sector Constituency. You can read more about this here
